The DON’TS of Blackjack
Blackjack is one of the simplest card games you can play at the casino. I am sure that you have come across a lot of blackjack tutorials and tips that would help you play the game better. Here are some things that you should avoid doing at the blackjack table.
DON’T just sit down at any seat. When you enter the casino, the chances are that you are raring to play. You would probably just look for the next empty seat and plunk down to play for the night. However, position does make a difference in blackjack. So instead of just sitting anywhere, observe the table first and choose a good seat. If you can find a third base seat that is open, then sit there. It would do you the most good. Remember, you are not compelled to take the first empty seat at a table. Bide your time and wait for the right timing.
DON’T imitate the dealer in play. The dealer follows the house rules. You on the other hand, as the player, do not have to do so. The dealer must hit when has a 16 and must stand when he has a 17. Do not make the mistake of thinking that because he is the dealer, you must play as he does. The best thing for you to do would be to follow the basic strategy or a more advanced tried and tested strategy. More so, do not get mad at the dealer when you lose. This guy is just doing his job.
More DON’TS next time.
