Why do you play blackjack? For many, the answer would probably be as simple as “because it is fun.” For some, it might be due to other reasons like “to win money, lots of it.” And still for some, it’s a good mixture of both. Choose a casino with more favorable house rules.
Each casino has its own house rules. Of course, we all know that these rules are normally made in order to for the casino to benefit as much as they can. There are some house rules which do favor the players. Some examples are dealer stands on soft 17, player may double after split, and surrender.

Check out the different card counting systems.
While you may already have a card counting system that you use, you might want to check out others. I heard that Stanford Wong’s Halves System gives better returns than the usual Hi-Lo system that is widely used.

Learn to stop playing.
Blackjack has its own cycles. There are runs wherein the advantage lies with the players. Then at some point, the advantage goes back to the house. When this happens, get up and find another table.
